Don't worry, it's clean...

Plunger Hat!

Scenes like this are what greet me on an average day. Eliana finds something to repurpose for her own imagination. A (brand new, never used) plunger becomes a hat. A comb becomes a camera. A necklace becomes a super hero cape. I love it.

I especially love that when said super hero cape (aka - Mommy's necklace she probably shouldn't be playing with) is turned back around to the front, she turns into Mommy and has the powers to administer time outs to imaginary children.

These are the things that I love. These little moments are what make necklaces strewn across the living room worth picking up for another day. These moments are the reason I allowed her to wear a clean plunger on her head as a hat before explaining to her that plungers do NOT go on heads because they go in toilets. These little moments are what make all of the not so great moments bearable. Because no matter what moment you are stuck in, you can always look back to moments like these and know that there are more to come.
